We're looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Manager to help us maintain and improve our growing portfolio of flexible work spaces. This is a varied role that combines building management, health and safety, contractor management and client service, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and building positive relationships.
You'll work closely with our Centre Managers and Operations team to ensure our buildings remain safe, compliant, efficient and welcoming for everyone who uses them.
What you'll be doing
No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
Looking after our buildings
Managing planned preventative maintenance programmes across our centres
Coordinating reactive maintenance and ensuring issues are resolved promptly
Monitoring building systems and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
Supporting refurbishment, fit-out and improvement projects
Keeping everyone safe
Ensuring our centres remain compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations
Managing statutory inspections, certifications and remedial actions
Supporting programmes such as water hygiene, asbestos management and fire safety
Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the business
Working with suppliers and contractors
Building strong relationships with trusted contractors and suppliers
Obtaining quotations and managing service contracts
Monitoring performance and ensuring high standards are maintained
Ensuring all contractors work safely and compliantly
Supporting our clients and centre teams
Acting as a key point of contact for facilities-related matters
Working closely with Centre Managers to deliver an exceptional client experience
Supporting office moves, fit-outs and centre improvements
Helping to create environments that clients are proud to call home
Managing budgets and reporting
Supporting the management of service charge and facilities budgets
Approving invoices and monitoring expenditure
Providing regular reports on compliance, maintenance and performance
About you
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and has a genuine passion for maintaining high-quality environments.
You'll likely have:
Previous facilities, property or building management experience
Strong knowledge of health and safety and compliance requirements
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
The ability to build positive relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues
A practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to get involved
A full UK driving licence
Experience within flexible workspace, commercial property or business centres would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Salary - Up to £40,000 per year (depending on experience)
+£4,200 annual car allowance
