Smart lighting

We’ve upgraded all fluorescent lighting to energy-efficient LED systems with PIR motion control across our portfolio, improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions.

Energy performance

Our buildings meet high energy performance standards, supporting both ESG in practice and compliance with EPC regulations.

EV charging

We are expanding EV charging points across our sites following the successful install at Thremhall Park (Stansted) and The Lambourn (Abingdon) — to promote low-emission commuting.

Considerate refurbishment

We prioritise refurbishment over rebuild, adopting circular economy principles that reduce embodied carbon and preserve existing resources.

Supply chain

Our supply chain partners are selected for their corporate ESG initiatives and shared sustainability goals, ensuring that our environmental standards are consistently met.

Social responsibility and community engagement

We believe in creating positive social impact through meaningful community engagement. Our ESG programme places people at the centre — fostering inclusion, wellbeing, and collaboration across all our locations. We’re proud to showcase a variety of community engagement examples that demonstrate how to engage a community effectively and sustainably.

Sport community engagement

We sponsor local sports clubs such as Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Club and Stevenage FC, promoting community engagement through sports and healthier lifestyles. These partnerships show how sport community engagement can strengthen local networks and wellbeing.

Supporting local charities and volunteering

Our support for charities like Accuro, Isabel Hospice, and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT) reflects our dedication to social impact ESG and ongoing local outreach. Our staff actively volunteer and participate in ESG initiatives that give back to their communities, from charity runs such as Race for Business in Chelmsford to seasonal giving campaigns such as Sleigh2Give and Play2Give in Abingdon.
