Mantle Space adds to its flexible office portfolio

25 July 2023 – Flexible office specialist Mantle Space has today announced it has signed a six-year lease to add 95 Regent Street, Cambridge to its portfolio of flexible working spaces. This very recognisable building, which occupies one of the most prominent positions in the city centre, will house more than 400 desks for some of the fastest-growing businesses in the Cambridge ecosystem.

As well as 22,500 sq ft of office space, meeting rooms and breakout areas, 95 Regent Street also has a roof terrace that can accommodate events for up to 70 people and is just a 10-minute walk from the station, despite being in the heart of the city. The building is owned by property investor and developer Howard Group.

The property is Mantle Space's third flexible working space in Cambridge – along with The Bradfield Centre and Nine Hills Road – making it the largest flexible space operator in the city in terms of space occupied. The company's portfolio also includes The Officers' Mess at Duxford – which it restored and now operates as serviced offices and co-working spaces – and historic Thremhall Park set in 12 acres of parkland near Stansted, as well as properties in Oxfordshire, Chelmsford and Stevenage.

Mantle Space organises regular networking events at each of its locations, with speakers from a wide range of businesses. The centres also host various indoor and outdoor events throughout the year – from business exhibitions and seminars to charity fundraisers and the classic and supercar event Pistons at the Park at Thremhall Park.
