We welcome The Red Hen Project to The Bradfield Centre! A local charity achieving great things! The Red Hen Project is a small but growing, hyper-local charity based in North Cambridge that has been helping children and their families in the CB4 postcode for more than 23 years. It can be tough living and raising a family in the most unequal city in England (as identified by the Centre for Cities).

“We were over the moon when the Bradfield Centre contacted us to offer us Home-Flexi membership. It means our team of family workers and project workers can drop in and use the facilities in-between visits to families they are supporting in CB4. Having a safe and comfortable place to reflect, write up notes, and recharge before visiting another family is crucial to the team’s wellbeing, tThey can often be dealing with challenging and stressful situations"

The benefits......On their first visit, family workers were able to use a meeting room to run a ‘team supervision session’ where they get together to share and troubleshoot challenges from their individual caseloads. They are back again in March to use the auditorium for first aid training.
